I consider it lucky because I lost my wallet in new york city the day I bought the card and actually found it again after retracing my steps with all my money (and the card) still inside. that literally never happens - you lose something in NYC and it’s gone.

it was mostly pigeon-related but there was a baby grackle too

one of my boss’s labradoodles gently grabbed my arm in his mouth and tried to carry it around like it was a toy and not attached to me
