ok preach time: I really don’t agree with the premise of shittyhetaliarpers.

I know it’s embarrassing to have someone from your fandom rping smut on facebook, but posting their accounts without the names blurred and humiliating them further is a generally Not Okay thing to do, especially when you’re inviting a horde of tumblr members to send them hate and harass them for their spin on a fictional character

if they’re having fun and not offending anyone in the process then take a deep breath and realize that it’s okay for you to disagree with the way they behave. you don’t have to friend them, and you certainly don’t have to go looking for them. if you really need to draw amusement from their antics then quote them without showing their names or something; don’t invite them to be scoffed at by revealing their personal information.

for being fans of a show based on trivializing conflict people sure do get angry about a private rper not living up to their expectations
